Abstract: The flora of Lambay Island was surveyed by H. C. Hart in 1881-1882. This account of the flora by Praeger lists additional species to those already in Hart's comprehensive list, and describes the ecology of the Lambay Island flora. The plant associations of the island are mapped and include a maritime association consisting of numerous species found on the sandy shore, and on rock and shingle, mainly on the east of the island.
