Abstract: An account is given of a search for the pseudo-scorpion, Obiscum maritimum, on the shores of Kenmare River, behind Brennell Island, on the border of counties Cork and Kerry. This species, hitherto unrecorded in Ireland, was found in a number of places. The habitat of O. maritimum is described and the species associated with it are noted.
