Abstract: Paper records the finding of Zostera marina, the common Grasswrack, and Z. marina var. angustifolia, its narrow-leaved variety, growing in great masses on the mud banks in Strangford Lough, near Grey Abbey, Co. Down. Furthermore, the first recording of Z. nana, the Dwarf Sea-grass, from Co. Down is listed. It was found growing with Ruppia maritima on muddy sand in pools between the Mid Island, Grey Abbey, and the mainland.
