Abstract: This paper records the capture of two specimens (male and female) of mature Common Dolphin-fish Coryphaena hippurus by a tuna boat approximately 600 km off the southwest coast of Ireland in 1993. Morphometric details are given and the occurrences of C. hippurus in the north-east Atlantic discussed.
