Abstract: A zoological note, which reports that a rare nudibranch, Cuthona genovae, contained a single female of the endoparasitic copepod Splanchnotrophus brevipes, previously unknown in Ireland. C. genovae constitutes a new host record for this parasite. The specimen was collected in Lough Hyne, Co. Cork.
