Abstract: Short note on the capture of a juvenile specimen of porbeagle shark Lamna nasus in Dingle Bay Co. Kerry in July 1990. The discovery of this juvenile specimen would seem to confirm that this species reproduces in Irish inshore waters during the summer months.
