Abstract: A short note on the recording of a population of the bivalve mollusc Adula simpsoni found attached to the skull of a Cuvier's beaked whale trawled up from a depth of 150 fathoms off the south-west coast of Ireland. There are three other records of Adula simpsoni from Irish waters.
