Abstract: Paper provides the weight and length of the third record of the shark Oxynotus paradoxus to be captured from Irish inshore waters (ie. within the 183 m line). Another recent record in Irish offshore waters is also listed. A review is provided of all Irish records of this species from both inshore and predominantly offshore waters.
