Abstract: A short report on the occurrence of various mullet (Liza) species in Irish coastal waters. A further observation of L. ramada is given as well as the first identification of L. aurata from Irish waters. It is yet to be determined if Liza spp. are occasional visitors or if indigenous populations exist.
