Abstract: In August 1989, an adult male seahorse, Hippocampus ramulosus, was captured in Lough Hyne. It was well camouflaged on green weed in shallow water (1 m depth), approximately 10 m out from the shore of the Goleen. The fish was collected by hand. This is a short note only.
