Abstract: A short note on a harpacticoid copepod, Heterolaophonte hamondi, which was not previously found in intensive searches for harpacticoids in the Dublin area. The harpacticoid was removed from the lower layers of gravel that had previously been collected at Seapoint, Co Dublin. The water had been collected from both Seapoint and Blackrock.
