Abstract: Distribution of the introduced ascidian, Styela clava in Cork Harbour. Styela was collected either by SCUBA diving, using an oyster dredge, direct collection (from drained oyster ponds, or shore), or removed from structures laid in the sea. Styela were measured in their contracted state along total height from the pedal disc to the apical end. Weights of drained but damp specimens. Trials to eliminate tunicates among oysters are reported with known range of S. clava in Cork Harbour.
