Abstract: Sublittoral dredging programme off Co. Wexford in 1977, 78 (specifically from Wexford Harbour, around Carnsore Point to Saltee Islands and as far out as Tuskar Rock). 279 stations occupied, in depths of 8 - 72 m. Bivalves taken are listed with notes on depth and habitat. Faunal samples were washed through a 2 mm mesh screen, and all animals preserved. Station depths, uncorrected with respect to tidal height and nature of substrate listed. 42 species recorded. Sediments characteristic of high energy environment and this is reflected in predominance of coarser substrates, with low levels of fines.
