Abstract: Short note. During a neuston survey in Galway Bay, where samples were taken each month from July 1982 to Sept. 1984, 20 specimens of the oceanic scyphomedusa Pelagia noctiluca and 16 individuals of the hyperiid amphipod Hyperoche medusarum were recorded. Some details of the stations are given and previous records.
