Abstract: First distributional records of the clausidiids, a little known family of poecilostome copepods, around Ireland. They are all marine and appear to be associated with other marine invertebrates. Specimens were found 1 km out from Sandycove Harbour Co. Dublin and in Lough Hyne, Co. Cork.
