Abstract: Paper investigates the occurrence of folliculinids (marine ciliates) on the shells of Spirorbis spp. of worms attached to intertidal Fucus serratus from several sites along Strangford Lough, Co. Down. They were also studied on Chlamys varia, C. opercularis and Pecten maximus from dredging.
