Abstract: This paper describes larval lobsters, Homarus gammarus, from the plankton in Lough Hyne. Larval lobsters were found near the sea surface by day and night and were not found to be evenly distributed about the lough. They were concentrated within patches of floating weed debris or in areas where planktonic forms are known to be concentrated by the effects of water eddying.
