Abstract: Spatial and temporal distributions of the dinoflagellate Ceratium tripos in Galway Bay in the late summer, early autumn of 1980. The species was causing coloured water. Other species were also found and quantitative measurements taken. Cell densities, salinities, temperatures and percentage of saturation of oxygen associated with the coloured water are listed for various work stations.
