Abstract: A short note on a polychaete, Pomatoceros lamarcki, new to Irish waters. It was found with a similar species P. triqueter on test panels used for monitoring succession in sublittoral epifaunal communities in Inner Galway Bay, at the Blackrock Buoy (15 m depth), and stones collected intertidally at Sandy Cove Island, Kinsale Harbour, Co Cork.
