Abstract: This paper presents data (specific sites, habitat description, some notes on abundance) on Oligochaeta belonging to the Naididae (one species), Tubificidae (three species) and Enchytraeidae (20 species) which were collected from a wide range of coastal habitats in Co. Wexford during a survey of intertidal fauna. Sampling was carried out over a two year period from May 1976 to July 1978 and was most intensive in the vicinity of Carnsore Point and Lady's Island Lake. Results are presented by habitat description rather than site, i.e. intertidal sand, littoral fringe, wrack beds and gravel, intertidal mud and brackish water, and rocky shores. An annotated species list is also given. There are four new Irish records and 13 new county records.
