Abstract: A detailed paper on recent (as of 1979) and previous records of the mysid Neomysis integer and its Irish distribution. Reference, location, grid reference and nomenclature are given for published records. In previously unpublished records, the recorder, date, locality and grid reference are given. The paper concludes by stating that N. integer has been found all around the Irish coast and that most records are from areas of lowered salinities, usually estuaries or brackish enclosures. Its wide distribution would suggest that occasional coastal movements occur.
