Abstract: Paper reports on a number of marine red algae at Carnsore Point and Cahore Point which, although not extremely rare, have not been reported previously from the Wexford coast and the distribution of which is poorly known in Ireland. The collection was part of an investigation of the intertidal around Carnsore Point. Each of the five species listed are discussed in detail with respect to habitat, distribution, previous records etc.
