Abstract: Paper reports on three recent algal records from the north of Ireland. The first is of Chlorochytrium sp. growing endophytically in Enteromorpha flexuosa apparently unattached on mud in the mid-littoral to the southeast of Rolly Island in Strangford Lough, Co Down. The second is Lomentaria orcadensis. This is the seventh finding in Ireland but the first in the north. It was found at Garron Point, Co Antrim near the bottom of a steep sided rock pool or gully, shaded from the light and in the lower littoral of a moderately exposed shore. The third is that of Codium bursa. Although usually referred to as being rare, 2 specimens were collected by divers at a depth of 10 m below low water in part of Mulroy Bay, near Kindrum Co Donegal. A short discussion on each species is provided with respect to other specimens and taxonomic characteristics.
