Abstract: A short note on the collection of 3 fairly complete adult specimens of Platysquilla eusebia found in the stomachs of three plaice (Pleuronectes platessa) taken by trawler in Galway Bay. The only previous record of an adult P. eusebia was from a sandy shore, Mweenish, Carna Co Galway, where it was found borrowing in sand on a Zostera marina bank. Its recorded distribution outside Ireland is given.
