Abstract: Paper presents an annotated (locality found which includes 10 km grid reference, and habitat) list of Irish marine littoral and freshwater oligochaetes. Marine littoral collections were made at low tide from six locations in Dublin Bay, a single collection was made from the marine littoral on Inishmore Island, Galway. Freshwater oligochaetes were collected during routine sampling of freshwater habitats, particularly in the Galway area. Twenty-four species were found; 11 from marine littoral and 13 from freshwater habitats. Species not previously recorded in Ireland are marked.
