Abstract: A short note on the finding of a Yarrell's blenny, Chirolophis ascanni, in a lobster creel at sea off Rathlin Island, Co. Antrim. It was returned alive to the sea. Went and Kennedy (List of Irish Fishes 1969) describe the species as rare.
