Abstract: A short note on the finding of two species of sacoglossan opisthobranch molluscs which live on salt marshes. Prior to 1974 there were few Irish records of Alderia modesta and none of Limapontia depressa. Both species were found to be abundant on salt marshes at Ardkeen, Co. Down and Larne Lough Co. Antrim in May 1974. A further species L. capitata not recorded in Irish Sea Area 28 since 1945 was found in green pools at the top shore at Drains Bay, near Larne Co. Antrim.
