Abstract: Paper presents data (frequency males, females, size) for the crab Xantho incisus collected at Annagh Head and Gubarusheen, on the western side of the Mullet Peninsula, Co. Mayo. Shore collections made at numerous localities around the coasts of the Mullet Peninsula between 1969-1972 showed this decapod to have a limited distribution and occurred only at these two localities. Beginning at low water mark transects were made at approximately 0.5 m intervals vertically up the shore. Crabs were removed to the lab where each specimen was weighed and measured; all the crabs, with the exception of those retained for observation or examination of stomach contents were released the following day.
