Abstract: Paper presents species list and some comments with respect to plankton collected using a motorized water pump. Water was pumped into a conical plankton net (mesh size 68 microns) at full power for 10 minutes. Samples taken at six stations and from three depths 1, 12 and 25 m. Galway Bay provided sample area.
