Abstract: A short note on the finding of three specimens of the Devonshire cup coral, Carophyllia smithi on rock in deep crevices in the Laminaria zone at Ballinacourty Point, Dungarvan Harbour, Co. Waterford during a biological survey. A further specimen was also found at Helvick Head, in addition to a small specimen of the crinoid Antedon bifida under a large flat stone. These were apparently previously unrecorded from the Waterford coast.
