Abstract: A short report on the frequency and distribution of seaweeds in Cork Harbour. Many species found have not previously been recorded in Cork Harbour and some are new county records. It was found that the shores of Cork Harbour could be roughly subdivided into three categories: (a) rocky shores with moderate exposure, (b) shingle areas which were very sheltered and (c) saltmarsh areas.
