Abstract: A brief account of the fluke Bucephalopsis gracilescens and its usual hosts throughout its life cycle. In Cork Harbour the metacercaria were found in the coalfish Gadus virens, a species not previously recorded as an intermediate host for this fluke, as well as in codling, pollack and whiting.
