Abstract: A short paper on the capture (as a bycatch) of 100-150 jellyfish, which differed in size and colouration from the familiar Cyanea capillata usually found off north Co. Dublin. The species was thought to be C. lamarckii. The differences in the two species are discussed, as are previous records.
