Abstract: A short note on the capture of a wolf fish, Anarrhichas lupus, on the River Foyle, Co. Londonderry. Went (List of Irish Fishes, 1957) records the fish as scarce within 100 fathom line, thus a capture made in shallow water within an estuary is worth recording.
