Abstract: Paper is mostly comprised of an annotated species list of some of the fish listed as 'rare' in Went's 1957 'List of Irish Fishes'. Rare was defined as reliably recorded not more than ten times within the 100 fathom line. Notes on location and date of capture are given where available.
