Abstract: Paper presents a review of the taxonomic changes to two copepods in British waters. The first is of the ascidicolous copepod Haplostoma eruca (Norman) which has been recorded three times in 90 years (up to 1959) under four different generic names. The second is of a copepod belonging to the poecilostomatous division of the Cyclopoida, Synaptiphilus tridens.
