Abstract: A short note on the capture of two specimens of Cranch's spider-crab, Achaeus cranchii, at about 5 fathoms among 'coral' and old shells of escallop beds between Kinelly Island and Kilkieran Harbour. Prior to this, this species has only been recorded on two occasions from Irish waters.
