Abstract: Paper reports on a brief survey of the fauna in a gully near Carnalea, Co. Down carried out during February and March 1951. Carnalea lies on the south shore and near the mouth of Belfast Lough. Paper concentrates on the effects of the freshwater stream on the fauna and ecology of a rocky shore.
