Abstract: This report gives an account of the quality of the surface waters of [Ireland] based on the results of surveys and measurements carried out in the period 1987-1990. The main database for the report covers 4200 sampling points in over 1200 rivers and streams, as well as 172 lakes and 16 estuarine and coastal waters.
