Abstract: This paper provides data on parasitic intensity, prevalence, temperature effects on generation times and on individual growth and fecundity of the caligid copepods Caligus elongatus and Lepeophtheirus salmonis on farmed salmon in inner Betraghboy Bay, Connemara, Co. Galway. The study reported that population growth and succession of copepod generations were allowed to proceed naturally and were followed through both a summer and winter period.
