Abstract: This paper outlines the sublittoral epifauna of Kinsale Harbour, both the naturally occurring fauna and those colonising on artificial, introduced substrata. Ophiothrix fragilis is reported as the most numerous species of the epifaunal community and its reproductive cycle, settlement and population dynamics and predation by Luidia ciliaris are described.
