Abstract: Seminar presents coastal zone management plans from around the Irish Sea. 'All types of estuaries and coasts were covered, from heavily commercial ones such as the Mersey, Belfast and Dublin, to more pristine estuaries such as the Duddon and Strangford Lough. There were also some examples of plans covering the open coast'.
