Abstract: This paper discusses three species of the Lucernaridae taken from Valencia Harbour, Co. Kerry, during the late 1890s. A detailed description of Haliclystus auricula is given and comparison is made with H. octoradiatus. Specimens of Lucernaria campanulata taken from Zostera beds are described, and a new (unnamed) species of Lucernaria noted.
