Abstract: Paper reports on 2121 grey mullet, Chelon labrosus, which were net-captured from June to September 1977 on the south coast of Ireland and landed between Wexford and Cork Harbour. Fork length and girth measurements were made on the entire sample. Age and weight were determined for 528 of these. Gonads from 341 fish were weighed and 154 ovaries were sectioned.
