Abstract: Report on the development of a database to monitor trends in nutrient concentrations in the Irish Sea (nitrate and phosphate). Use of Arc/info as the GIS database software. This project was coordinated by the Fisheries Research Centre, Ireland, and the Department of the Marine, Dublin. The database produced provides the first broadscale quality assured and synoptic assessment of nutrients in the Irish sea and a comprehensive baseline for future trend analysis.
