Abstract: The tops, sides and bottoms of boulders collected from various parts of the Lough Ine, Co. Cork rapids were examined and species listed. One hundred and fifty-six species were recorded. The preference of species for strong currents or sheltered bays and for the tops, sides and bottoms of boulders is tabulated.
