Abstract: In this paper the larval drift from the herring (Clupea harengus) spawning ground in Galway Bay is examined and the distribution and abundance of larvae are analysed in relation to environmental data. The data were collected on routine monthly cruises...between 1972 and 1975 as part of a general multidisciplinary survey of Galway Bay.
