Abstract: Paper reports on 741 butterfish, Pholis gunnellus captured from rockpools on three different shores (Grattan Road, Finvarra, and Carna) in the Galway Bay area. Sex ratios, age and growth data, reproductive biology, food intake, and parasites were all investigated.
