Abstract: This paper reports on the occurrence of imposex in all populations of Nucella lapillus examined in an intensive survey of Kinsale Harbour, Co. Cork, in mid-1992. Deformities of the penis, tentacles and eyes were also studied. There was no correlation between these deformities and the intensity of imposex occurrence.
