Abstract: Paper presents data on a total of 732 thornback rays (Raja clavata) taken by rod and line during angling festivals in Clew Bay and Broadhaven Bay, Co. Mayo in 1971. Paper provides information on size, sex ratios, maturity and diet and results from a tagging experiment.
